- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner - Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar - Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries - Check patients in and verify insurance information - Collect co-pays and process payments - Maintain patient records and update medical information - Assist with medical administrative tasks as needed -Outpatient surgery scheduling -Refill requests -Faxing
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in an Ophthalmology office - Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures - Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively As a Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support to our healthcare facility.
