Maintenance Technician
Our client is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
o Repairs and maintains production equipment (preferably experience with high speed packaging equipment -- Multivac, Weber, Formax experience a plus).
o Troubleshoots equipment failures.
Works from drawings, prints, diagrams and manufacturers' printed instructions to troubleshoot and locate mechanical, hydraulic and electrical problems in functional and control systems such as PLC.
o Performs routine and emergency mechanical, hydraulic/pneumatic and electrical maintenance.
o Assists in the installation of new equipment.
Fabricates new equipment or supplemental pieces when needed by using tooling machines.
o Repairs and maintains building, grounds and facility.

Qualifications:
o Mechanical:
Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Pumps, Bearings, Chains and Belting, Conveying Systems, Valves, Basic Blueprint Reading and Mechanical Troubleshooting o Electrical:
Advanced Knowledge and Experience Using Variable Frequency Drives, Advanced and Basic Electricity, AC/DC Motors and Control Systems, Basic Schematic Reading, Basic PLC Knowledge, and Electrical Troubleshooting o Machine Shop Skills:
various welding techniques, fabrication, basic plumbing, and basic carpentry and masonry.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
